Support Family Farms, Buy Local

Please join the Berks County Department of Agriculture as we promote the incredible diversity of Berks County’s bounty of products.

Support Family Farms, Buy Local

As part of the Department’s Growing Berks Plan, we are launching Bountiful Berks – Support Family Farms, Buy Local.

Buying local food not only provides us with the freshest products available, it also supports our local economy. More of the money spent locally goes back into the economy here, supporting not only our family farms, but the larger community.

We are pleased to provide our Bountiful Berks Market Guide, a new publication for 2026. This comprehensive print guide is a companion piece to our online Local Food Map. Both of these showcase over 250 locations throughout Berks County where residents and visitors can purchase local products.

To assist in this initiative, we ask that you display these guides and the included marketing materials for distribution, so that all may experience the bounty that Berks County has to offer. Please post the included signs to show customers that your goods are Bountiful Berks products.

On September 1, 2026, we launched a social media presence with Facebook and Instagram accounts. We will be featuring the products and vendors that register as Bountiful Berks participants. We want to share your contributions that make Berks County a special place to live, work, and shop.

Bountiful Berks will recognize and support all ag products that are planted, produced, and processed in Berks County. If you grow or harvest anything from asparagus to apples, pumpkins, or Christmas trees, you are eligible. If you raise livestock for meat, dairy, or eggs, you are eligible. If you use a product that was planted or picked in Berks County as the foundation for your value-added salsa, jam, or wine, you are eligible. If you nurture a sourdough starter for loaves of bread, bake a pretzel, or package a beloved snack food, you are eligible to be part of the Bountiful Berks “Family.”

If you would like to be identified as a Bountiful Berks participant, please fill out the form below or download the application here.

If you have questions or need more Market Guides, please contact us at 610-378-1844.

Thank you for helping us to celebrate and connect Berks County’s farms, families, and food!
