About the Live Webinar

Explore key federal and Pennsylvania worker protection requirements for agricultural employers, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, field sanitation, temperature-related illness prevention, chemical handling, personal protective equipment, Environmental Protective Agency requirements, and insurance compliance. The webinar will also cover proposed legal changes, employer compliance checklists, and best practices, with practical recommendations from Penn State Ag Safety and Health. Following the presentation, participants will have an opportunity to ask attorneys questions and discuss real-world scenarios. The Center for Agricultural and Shale Law provides educational support and resources only and does not offer legal representation.

This webinar is open to everyone at no cost, thanks to an AgWorks grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. To help track grant reach and eligibility, participants will be asked questions about their farm or agribusiness during registration. Responses will remain confidential and will not be shared outside the project team.

As part of the AgWorks grant initiative, no-cost training and consultation services are available to qualifying small- to medium-sized farms and agribusinesses in Pennsylvania. For more information, visit AgWorks.
